CORAL TRIANGLE ADVENTURES INC dba Coral Triangle Adventures is a corporation based in Nevada, USA. Lee Goldman and Ethan Daniels are the founders and directors of the company.

PRICING

Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and must be paid in U.S. dollars. Prices are ‘per person’ and based on double occupancy (sharing or twin). Single occupancy rates may apply to specific departures (please see the departure of choice for more information). Rates and itineraries are subject to change without notice. Inclusions and exclusions vary among trips; please refer to the specific trip for what is included and what is not. Our prices are determined in advance and are often tied directly to the currency value in the host country. Fluctuating currencies, changes in government tax policies and dramatic fuel cost increases may occur. For exceptional increases beyond our control, it may be necessary to add a surcharge at any time before departure. In this event, participants will immediately be notified.

RESERVATION AND PAYMENT INFORMATION

Unless otherwise noted in the brochure or website, a deposit amount along with the signed application form is required to reserve a space on the expedition of your choice. Payments can be made via a bank wire transfer paid to Coral Triangle Adventures. If remitting from another country, all currencies must be converted to US dollars prior to the initiation of the wire. If Coral Triangle Adventures incurs bank fees, they will be added to the final invoice.

Invoices based upon the trip payment schedule will be emailed to all participants approximately three (3) weeks prior to the due date. Please note that the payment is due as agreed upon in the contract even in the absence of an invoice. The reservation deposit must be paid in full, and the application form signed and returned to Coral Triangle Adventures (emailed or mailed) no later than 14 days after booking to reserve a confirmed space.

VACCINATIONS

Consult a doctor to determine required vaccinations for the planned destination(s).

CANCELLATION POLICY

Notification of cancellation must be received in writing. See the cancellation section on the tour page, invoices, and receipts for the schedule of penalties. Once the expedition has commenced, no refunds will be given by Coral Triangle Adventures on any unused portions. This policy also applies to any expedition extensions and independent travel arrangements made in conjunction with the trip. In the event COVID-19 or similar epidemic or pandemic restrictions force Coral Triangle Adventures to cancel a departure, full credit will be applied towards the rescheduled departure. Coral Triangle Adventures is not responsible for international flights, or additional hotel stays and/or extended travel outside of the dates of the given departure.

ITINERARIES

Coral Triangle Adventures will make every reasonable effort to operate the expedition as advertised, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued, mainly due to weather, currents & tides or to take full advantage of wildlife encounters or cultural events. We will discuss our itinerary daily with our local guides and operators and will always choose the best available option. Hotel and/or ship accommodations and arranged tours are subject to change or cancel at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond Coral Triangle Adventures control.

Coral Triangle Adventures reserves the right to change leaders, itineraries, program dates and accommodations as conditions warrant. Coral Triangle Adventures reserves the right to cancel a tour or any part of it for any reason whatsoever, to make alterations to the itinerary or the tour inclusions as it deems necessary or desirable, and to pass on to tour participants any expenditures or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control. If a trip has been cancelled, Coral Triangle Adventures is not responsible for any expenses incurred by participating guests in preparing for the trip, including penalty carrying airline tickets, special clothing, visa or passport fees, or other trip related expenses.

INSURANCE

An active travel insurance policy is required. It is a prerequisite that you have travel insurance that covers you for medical, air-evacuation and accident. Although every possible care is taken to safeguard you and your property, Coral Triangle Adventures accept no liability for any accidents, injuries, illnesses or death incurred, or for any loss of, or damage to your property, or for any unforeseen changes or interruptions to the expedition. No credit on any unused portions will be given and the cancelation policy will apply. Evacuation insurance and travel assistance for medical emergencies:

DAN (Divers Alert Network) provides insurance for in-water accidents and includes complete transportation/evacuation coverage. They also have travel insurance programs. We require the minimum evacuation insurance unless your insurance company provides this service for in-water accidents.

ACTIVE ELEMENTS & MEDICAL INFO

All Coral Triangle Adventures are very active, and participants need to be in good general health. For most activities a moderate to good level of fitness is required. It is essential that Coral Triangle Adventures is informed of any medical conditions/problems and/or any related dietary restrictions. Individuals with heart disease, chronic illness, physical handicap, advanced pregnancy or mental illness SHOULD NOT PARTICIPATE in these active expedition programs. The expedition leader has the right to disqualify any tour participant at any time during the expedition, if he/she feels that the participant is physically incapable and/or if a participant’s continued participation will jeopardize either the individual involved or the group. There will be no refund given under these circumstances.

SCUBA DIVING

Coral Triangle Adventures does not include SCUBA diving in conjunction with its expeditions. If SCUBA diving is offered by the boat and/or resort it is independent of the expedition and outside of the responsibilities of Coral Triangle Adventures. All participating SCUBA divers must present a valid minimum certification level of Open Water Diver or equivalent issued by certified SCUBA diving agencies like PADI, CMAS, NAUI, SSI or SDI. Certification card must be presented on the trip.

PARTICIPATION

Coral Triangle Adventures reserves the right to decline to accept any individual as a trip participant for any reason whatsoever. Coral Triangle Adventures also has the right to make changes to the schedule of guides accompanying any tour. This can happen at any time and for any reason.

MINIMUM NUMBERS

If a minimum number of participants is not reached, Coral Triangle Adventures may either cancel or adjust an itinerary accordingly. In this event Coral triangle Adventures may return or credit the amount paid up until the declaration of trip cancellation. Services may also be modified to accommodate a smaller group. For example, private boat charters and lodging exclusive to our group, may have to be shared if the minimum guest number is not reached.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Specific requests such as bedding requests or special dietary needs should be advised early. Please note that every effort will be made to secure your requests, however, they cannot be guaranteed.

GRATUITIES

Unless otherwise noted in the brochure or website, gratuities for all boat, hotel, and restaurant staff, porters, local guides, and drivers are included. The only gratuities not included are for your Coral Triangle Adventures leaders and is up to your discretion.

FLIGHTS

Unless otherwise noted in the expedition literature or departure notes, Coral Triangle Adventures will handle internal flights that take place within the specified expedition date and only for the expedition that the flight (or flights) is (are) associated. Flights will only originate from and arrive at destinations as specified in the expedition program. Coral Triangle Adventures will not be responsible, nor handle flights to or from any other location other than the locations declared in the expedition literature. Coral Triangle Adventures will not be responsible for missed flights and nor will be responsible for any penalties or fees associated with a new flight itinerary.

LUGGAGE

Weight restrictions apply in all our internal/domestic flights. Details on restrictions will be provided with the pre-departure notes. Baggage and personal effects are at the owner’s risk throughout the expedition. Excess luggage fees are at the expense of the participant.

PASSPORT

All participants must have valid government issued proof of citizenship in the form of a passport. It must be valid for at least 6 months beyond completion of the expedition. Your passport name must match the name on your tour reservation and airline ticket, or you may be denied boarding. Entry laws differ with respect to each traveler’s citizenship. Coral Triangle Adventures will not obtain personal travel documents for participants or assume responsibilities for notice of countries’ current requirements. Guests are responsible for any expenses incurred because of delays or itinerary changes related to missing travel documents.

ARRIVE EARLY OR STAY LATE

If you wish to arrive early or extend your vacation at your own expense, please contact Coral Triangle Adventures. We will adjust our transfer services, offer advice, help with bookings, and/or ensure coordination with the tour program.

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY ON EXPEDITION

Coral Triangle Adventures will use photographs and video footage taken on all expeditions for the final slideshow and/or video. This is done for promotional purposes, for image and video footage sales and documentary film making. If you prefer that your photo/video not be used, please notify your expedition leader at the start of your tour. This can also be addressed in writing during the booking process.

WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS

Our intentions are to provide our guests with the greatest opportunities for successful wildlife encounters. Our experience, complete dedication to preparing for the expedition, and a realistic approach to wildlife encounter increases our chances considerably. However, given that these are wild encounters, and that Coral Triangle Adventures has no control over the behaviors of animals or the weather, we cannot guarantee that the animals or the weather will cooperate with us.

LIMITS ON CORAL TRIANGLE ADVENTURES RESPONSIBILITY

CORAL TRIANGLE ADVENTURES INC doing business as Coral Triangle Adventures, its owners, employees, officers, directors, successors, agents and assigns, does not own or operate any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your trip. It purchases transportation (by aircraft, coach, train, vessel and otherwise), hotel and other lodging accommodations, restaurant, ground handling and other services from various independent suppliers who are not affiliated with CORAL TRIANGLE ADVENTURES INC, dba Coral Triangle Adventures in any way. All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, Coral Triangle Adventures is not liable for any negligent or willful act of any such person or entity or any third person.

In addition and without limitation CORAL TRIANGLE ADVENTURES INC, dba Coral Triangle Adventures is not responsible for any injury, financial or physical loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, detention, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, government restrictions or regulations, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, annoyance, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.

RISKS

There are many inherit risks in adventure expedition travel, which can lead to illness, injury or even death. The risks are increased by the fact that these expeditions take place in remote locations, far from medical facilities. Participants assume all such risks associated with participating in this expedition. It is the responsibility of the participant to become informed about the most current travel advisories and warnings referring to the U.S. State Department’s travel website. In the event of an active State Department Travel Warning against travel to the specific destination location(s) of the trip, should the participant still choose to travel, notwithstanding any travel advisory or warning, the participant assumes all risk of personal injury, death or property damage that may arise out of the events like those advised or warned against.

Any payment to CORAL TRIANGLE ADVENTURES INC, dba Coral Triangle Adventures, the signing of the application form constitutes the participants acceptance of the terms & conditions set out herein and the agreement to be bound by them. Please contact us for more information.
