Snorkeling Palau and the Philippines!
We did it again! We combined two of the most famous snorkeling destinations in the world, Palau and the Philippines, with two iconic and luxurious resorts, Palau Pacific Resort and El Nido Resorts. Between Palau’s gorgeous lagoon and action-packed barrier reef, and El Nido’s picture-perfect bay and unique reef systems, these two areas harbor a wealth of marine habitats and insane levels of marine biodiversity! Join our small group of adventurous snorkelers at our luxurious, 5-star resorts for this incredible journey to some of the most beautiful reefs and settings on the planet!
Itinerary
Each departure is unique and hand-crafted to expose you to a diversity of marine habitats and the incredible snorkeling sites that can be found there. The first half of the tour takes place in scenic Bacuit Bay, El Nido, Palawan where dozens of towering marble/limestone islands set a dramatic backdrop to our snorkeling activities. These islands create a variety of marine habitats including sheltered reefs, pristine sea grass communities, and shallow coral gardens! In contrast, Palau offers a well-developed barrier reef system. We will snorkel sites at Ulong Channel and sites around the southern barrier reef such as Big Drop-off for the variety and abundance of tropical fish and German Channel to look for manta rays! We will also visit sites and locales inside the lagoon such as Jellyfish Lake, hidden reefs and lagoons of Nikko Bay, and many of the colorful coral gardens and habitats in the Rock Islands.
The usual disclaimer about weather and tides affecting the itinerary are only a bonus for us, since we use them to ensure we visit each site at the best times possible! Our snorkeling tour begins in Manila, Philippines and ends in Koror, Palau. There is one internal roundtrip flight (Manila – El Nido), and one, one-way international flight from Manila to Koror

El Nido, Palawan is located about 11 degrees north of the Equator and enjoys a tropical climate with sunny days and cool breezes. There always exists a chance of early morning or late afternoon showers. Water temperatures: 82º F (28º C). Air temperatures 88º F (31º C).
Palau is located seven degrees above the equator and experiences the classical Micronesian weather pattern: Sunny with a chance of rain. Early morning or late afternoon showers are not uncommon throughout the year.
