We combined two of the best snorkeling destinations in the world, Alor and Wakatobi, with two of the best accommodations on the planet, the Gaia Love and Wakatobi Resort! From shallow reefs that fringe from Alor's rugged, volcanic coastline to well-developed atolls and barrier reefs of the Wakatobi Regency. Join our small group of adventurous snorkelers on board our luxurious 5-star motor yacht and at the world-class Wakatobi Resort for this incredible journey to the world’s epicenter for marine biodiversity!
Itinerary
Each departure is unique and hand-crafted to expose you to a diversity of marine habitats and the incredible snorkeling sites that can be found there. Our tour begins with snorkeling on some of the shallow, lush reefs of Alor and Pantar, before heading north to snorkel some of the remote, unspoiled atolls of southern Sulawesi. The finale is dedicated to the tropical island paradise of Wakatobi Resort, where stunning reefs are just a few meters from our hammocks! The 2025 snorkeling tour begins and ends in Bali, Indonesia, with two one-way internal flights (Bali – Kupang, Timor; Kupang – Kalabahi, Alor; Wakatobi – Bali). Beginning in 2026, the tour will begin in Jakarta and end in Bali.

Accommodations
We begin the design of our snorkeling-trips-of-a-lifetime around luxurious live-aboard motor yachts and stunning, spacious resorts, both offering the highest levels of service. For this departure we use the Gaia Love and the Wakatobi Resort. The hotel / resort we use in Bali is the Nusa Dua, and in Jakarta, the Sheraton Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
What to Expect
Alor is eight degrees and Wakatobi five degrees south of the Equator and each enjoy a tropical climate with weather year-round that is hot and humid. Rain showers often happen in the early morning or late afternoon.
