Snorkeling Komodo and Alor!

The cool, nutrient-rich waters that flow through the Lesser Sunda Islands produce some of the most colorful and abundant reefs in the world! Join our small group of adventurous snorkelers on board our luxurious 5-star motor yacht for this incredible journey to the world’s epicenter for marine biodiversity!

Itinerary

Each departure is unique and hand-crafted to expose you to a diversity of marine habitats and the incredible snorkeling sites that can be found there. Komodo National Park, Alor, and the islands of the Lesser Sundas offer a full range of marine habitats. From shallow coral gardens, sea grass communities, and seaward reefs in the north to the unique, species-rich habitats of southern Rinca and Pantar. Add in the mangroves of Lembata and the black sands of Adonara to search for rare marine creatures and this is snorkeling at its best!

We incorporate tides, moon phases, and weather into planning each itinerary to ensure we visit each site at the best times possible! Our snorkeling tour begins and ends in Jakarta, Indonesia, with two, one-way internal flights.

Accommodations

We begin the design of our snorkeling-trips-of-a-lifetime around luxurious live-aboard motor yachts and stunning, spacious resorts, both offering the highest levels of service. What to Expect

The Lesser Sundas are located about eight degrees south of the Equator and enjoy a tropical climate with temperatures that hover around 82º F (28º C) during the daytime and fall slightly at night. Water temperatures vary between 68º – 86º F (20º – 30º C). The large range in water temperature reflects the influence of oceanic upwellings that affect the south side of the chain of islands. For more details about Komodo, Alor, and the Lesser Sundas, what to expect and what to bring, download the pdf brochure and check out the gallery of marine life we have seen while snorkeling in Komodo National Park!
